Developing Youth Leaders
A youth group from Waterdown, Ontario visited Indian Family Centre in August for a week of service, learning, growth and fun. Amid the enthusiasm and energy of a group of spirited teens working with a group of rambunctious Northend children there were tremendously learnings. Issues like racism, poverty, and violence challenged the youth leaders as they wrestled with their assumptions and how to put their faith commitments into action.
One of the participants created a video of their time at IFC and it expresses some of the opportunities we offer here to all people. For a sneak peek at some of the joy we experience at IFC, please click here.
